No more 1-5am reset needed

    Not sure if anyone has posted this yet.....but

    Congress suspended the 1 to 5am reset requirement until at least September so it can be looked at further.

    It's a shame that mandatory 30-minute mandatory break rule wasn't included... that would have been a nice change for drivers!

    Ya, I agree. I run paper logs but I always take at least a 30 minute break. I usually drive 300 miles non stop and take a break. Another 200 and a long break then the last 100.

    It's plastered everywhere on Google. President Obama signed the bill into effect Dec 16th. He wasn't a fan of it either.

    Y'all better not "jump the gun", there has not been a date pointed out when this becomes "legal".

    Right on! Plus this is stimulating the economy, reprinting all of the rules and reg books across the country will surely bring on some overtime.

    It's already into law as of the 16th. Notifications have to be printed and sent out to all Motor Carriers but the rule is in place. Once the President signed it it became law. It was not as of a date, it was immediate.
