If you've had a bad experience with a certain doctor goto: http://www.ooida.com/ReviewDoc/ and review them. Make sure no other driver makes the mistake of going to that doctor and getting wrapped up in the same scam.

Slowpoke, That is funny! This is Occuhealth in Findlay doing the very same thing! I don't work for a big carrier (about 100 trucks) but they choose where we go for our physicals. I have no choice in the matter unless I was to go to a different company.

    a couple random thoughts ...

this comment makes no sense and can't understand how anyone can say it - "which is putting many folks livelihood in jeopardy for no reason many times."

the second thing is the dot doc can't give you a script for a test, it is up to your pcp and if you have issues with them, then it is something you have to deal with.

Report this doctor. seriously. State medical board and report him/her to the feds too.

Now with the face to face with your PCP, going over all the possible symptoms and coming to a finding that it is an un-necessary test, and a letter stating such , should in the logical world , allow you to be certified.

    Report him for what?

I mean he isn't holding you up, he isn't doing anything wrong other then making a judgement call and he can defend himself in it from what I read.

why did the PCP order it? Solely because you asked them to, to satisfy this DOT Doc? oR has your PCP deemed it to be medically called for?

I agree, the best course of action is for the company to decide weather or not they want to continue using this doctors services. It would appear that they have elected to stay with the doc/clinic. So option 2 is do the study, option 3 is move on. I guess it all depends how much the job means to you.

based on 2 criteria that mean squat by themselves? No other reported symptoms and he forcing this? Which is only a guideline, not a requirement at this point with FMCSA?
