our new trailers have a manufacturer inspection sticker as the first inspection. name date place certified etc.
-
I just called the manufacturer, they just said they never have issued insp. at the factory, and since I picked these up myself instead of at a dealer, hence, no insp. sticker.
Mystery solved. LOLtruckon Thanks this. -

396.21 (a) 2 require motor carriers to have an inspection form in the motor carrier's name (or intermodal carrier).

The reason most trailer manufactures don't have an inspection in them is 396.15. States when the vehicle is a part of a shipment being delivered(driveaway\towaway), it is exempt from the requirements of 396.17 (annual Inspection). Once the vehicle is put into service, the inspection is required.
