Oxydizer reputation is Neither Here Nor There
Drug test gone bad...Very bad

Greeting everyone.

I just returned from the Swift Acadamy in Millington, Tn. I was dis-qualified because I could not produce a specimin within the 3 hours you are allowed. I know this sounds very bad but true. I had a full bladder but was unable to produce any urine. I was told that this would be put on my DAC as a "refuse to test" I dont see how this can be, I thought you were considered inocent until proven guilty. does the fact that this is a pre-employmeny drug test have anything to do with it. Any help here would be appreciated.

Being a preemployment test really doesn't have anything to do with it. If you can't produce you fail. It's that way even with randoms. The way they look at it is you are hiding something and that is why you couldn't go. They gave you three hours what happened?

Stage fright? I'm sorry I shouldn't joke around, its not funny. That sucks man, so what's next? I don't know what's worse, failure to test or a failed test.

Oxydizer reputation is Neither Here Nor There
What happened was this. I went into the stall to produce the required urine and could not go, My bladder was full but nothing would come out. I attempted to give a specimen 7 times in 3 hours. The whole thing is tearing my up because I have been looking for a company that had a school. I have been out of work since 2001 when I injured my back on the job. In 6 months of looking for companies that have schools and that would accept someone with no work history, I found two, Swift and Central Refrigerated. I just called Central and told them the story with Swift, basically the recruiter told me They couldn't even touch for another 5 years. This whole thing just makes me so sick, I just want to do what I love to do and thats drive, now my carrer is totally in the can. I have tried so hard to get my back injury fixed and get off of SSD now it looks like I will have to find a different carrer path.

there are alot of good state tech schools that offer CDL training at a fraction of the Co CDL school cost , try one of them to get your CDL then pound the pavement ,. you'll get a driving job somewhere .

I know about how you feel i have lots of trouble going for the pee test.the trick i learned is when i know i have to go for one i dont use the bathroom from around 9pm the night before and i drink 2 or 3 1 liter bottles of water before i go. it is painfull as heck i am usualy doubled over in pain by the time i get to give the specimen but better than not being able to give it. and at least they dont have to stand and watch it come out of me like they used to years ago. that really made it worse on me. good luck with the next one

Feel bad for you. I myself can go anywhere. You know public bathroom, on the side of the road at the fuel island.
