I'd bet there is a market for collecting debts just for OO's. The laws make it tough to make like Rocky and collect on the street though.

My uncle tried to collect on a load of RR ties about 15 years ago for 3 months, the lady kept giving him the run around. He told her he had some friends that rode motorcycles and they would come to her house to see her sometime. He had a check 2 days later. Another guy I know walked into a brokers office with a baseball bat and came out with a check after several months of trying to get paid. You are right, you couldn't get away with that these days because you would wind up in jail. Two wrongs don't make a right I suppose.

In my case, my brother lives west of Phoenix, he is going to stop by their office next week and see if they are even still there. I have heard they moved out. I have someone working on it for me but I am pretty sure I will get effed on this load. If I do collect I will post an update.

This seems to be more common than I thought. Time to turn the tables.

From what ive found, each office of CHR is like their own brokershop. Some good, some bad, just like anything else. I like the online load seach, 24 hours support, 50% Tchecks up front and 48hr quick pay.

Works for me!

Think Big and Win Big!
thats what I heard as well about this company

Ive heard that if a broker doesnt pay you can go after the shipper! Is this not correct? At least you could give them a bad name with the shipper, I would call the shipper twice a day just to give a broker a bad name.

It will also give you a bad name because the shipper didnt hire you and you keep making these stupid ### calls to them instead of filing a claim against the broker. Now the next time you show up at my dock I am going to go out of my way to cause you problems for bugging the hell out of me

In short never piss off you wife for something your girlfriend did
