    What about your 'civic duty'?
I wonder how to log jury duty though?
ON (jury) Duty -- NOT Driving? :biggrin_25523:

Sure glad I don't have one of those.

    See above.

The District Attorney might putcha on the full-time list of peers.

    I tell 'em -- if I didn't see the crime -- I have (un?)reasonable doubt.
    HeY!
    Works for ME.

    YeAH!
And if you were selected for jury duty -- DISMISSED is whatcher truckin' company would be doin' to YOU.
    Ya reckon. :yes2557:

    Or just BE the cop!:biggrin_25514:

They must just be calling him for civil trials. I can't believe any defence scumbag er I mean attorney would allow him to be seated on a criminal trial.

y'know - it just struck me. I've been called a few times, and questioned twice. Neither attorney ever asked me if I ever USED to be a LEO. DO I know any, am I related to any, AM I one... yes. Never "have you in the past, been a law enforcement officer?"

(no, never actually served, though my mother has - on a murder trial)

    I hear it's optional.
    And sometimes mandatory. :biggrin_25520:

    >>whew<<

in truth, I did cut it way back last summer. Wanted to look at least less like a bum than usual for my parent's 50th anniversary. Since then, though, it's grown back with a vengeance...from 2 inches long to about 10.
