Okay I got 70 hours a week. I remember that my logs had a 7 day total on them, and that every day line 1 would roll off taking those hours with it. So every day you add up the rest of the lines and it comes out to whatever number. As long as I dont run right up against my 70 then I will never be restricted to driving what the hours I had on the day that rolled off were, right? I tried to make that as least confusing as possible. I remember that I never had less than 10 hrs left on any given day and that at the end of that day a big 12 or 13 would be coming off typically giving me a new, oh, 15 hours or so to run the rest of the next day. So how are drivers hitting there 70 and having to be reset on the road. Has something changed or are they logging everything as it actually happens and logging time not miles.

Too bad nobody answered him when he posted this, maybe he would have been back. Only came on here for 3 days after that post.
It is 70 hours in 8 days.
He would only get back what he had coming from day one on day 8.
If he was logging miles only and not as he did it, he can get away with that for a while, but eventually would have an issue. Unless he varied the miles each day. If the miles came out to an even 60 every day, or even close to it the DOT would eat him alive.

    JustSonny Thanks this.
