We have our recap right on the log form... but I *figure* it using either DDL or a spreadsheet I worked up.

A lot of companies require you to use their logs. They are free and I just tear one out when I need it.

That is true and alot of them do not.

I used the looselfeaf during the day when running in Chicago. At night, I would transfer all of the bad drawing and writing to the Optical scanning log sheet the company required. It was easier to draw the lines on a table rather than the steering wheel.
