| I know , I know but another log question! On my 70/8 does my " On Duty Not Driving" count against my 70? I was told it does but I thought that my 70 was just my "Driving Time"? |

Once you start it, your 14 hour clock is the only one you CAN'T turn off. . An easy way of remembering is as soon as log on duty count ahead 14 hours and make a little mark on your log , so through out the day you can look at that mark so you know when you need to shut her down.. So to answer your question NO your 14 does not count against your 70, You could be on duty/ not driving for a month if you wanted to but you better not sit in that drivers seat until you have had a ten hour break..... Good luck..............

As far as the 14 against the 70, that was not what was questioned. |
