Hmmmmm, I hadn't thought of that. Now that you mention it, I didn't see that sign on 95 or 70
Didn't see it on 695 either, but I was through there at morning rush hour so I was a little busy watching the 4 wheelers bob and weave.

I don't pay the absence of a sign any mind if I'm crawling up a hill though. I use the flashers anyway.

Did they change it to that in the last few weeks? Last time I was there in Virginia there are signs saying Trucks going under 65 MPH USE FLASHERS.

No matter how big and how fast you are, somebody, somewhere can pass you pull better or has a prettier truck. Got outrun by a pair of loaded California freight trucks think they were green and white Silas Trucking, up Grapevine N BND all of us loaded right at 79000. Boy was I embarrassed but then found out they were only geared at 62.

First liar ain't got a chance. I started on a single stack Mack B model that would do 13 MPH up Levita pass in CO. Had no turbo, air conditioning, radio and floorboard had holes that leaked 180-230 degree air in the summer and whatever the temp was in the winter. It had air operated windshieldwipers and the Bulldog would turn and wink at you at 0400 and5 and 3 and you could'nt touch the clutch and shift or you'd be on the side of the road because it wouldnt go in gear. It smoked like a coal train too.

i have seen many cars going way under the posted speed limit using them. dont see a problem with it. a friend of mine has a mercedes unimog 404 and when he takes it on the fwy he as to have a orange triangle reflector on the back of his car cause it goes about 40 or so max.

If there is a law to that effect, it's probably worded so flashers are prohibited unless there is a sign posted. I think MD is that way.

Said person should get off the freeway and take US highways or some other route. Freeways are designed to move a lot of traffic very fast, not for some guy on a scooter to enjoy the scenery.

In some places though the US highway were made part of the interstate system. Thank you President Eisenhower.

Like old US66 for example. That was replaced by I-15, I-40, and several others between Chicago and LA.
