| There's other roads to get there, no point in clogging up the interstate because some idiot wants to ride 40MPH. If the car's going to be a road hazard, it shouldn't be on the road--including the US highways. |

| just for the record, this past weekend I was in central CA (AGAIN).. Climbed Donner both ways with flashers going. Climbed CA 17 between San Jose and US 1 with flashers. Every time, I was passed by at least one CHP, sometimes more. Nobody stopped me and told me that I was doing a bad thing. If they had, of course, I'd have argued (In court)

| I used to run I-5 WA OR CA, for almost 5 years, whenever I slowed below 40 mph I would put the flashers on and if there is room on the shoulder (always in Oregon) then I would ride it up the hill with the cb on in case somebody says someone is broken down on the hill up ahead. Ive never been pulled over for it, and police know its common courtesy and common sense. Its easier for a slow truck going up hill to slow down and stop if someone is parked on the shoulder then have a 4 wheeler/Truck going 55 to 80 and rear end a truck doing 20-35 in a lane. |

We just don't trust them. In OR we also run the super tanker and they weigh up towards 100,000lbs. |

If I drove oversize I would agree with you, I would stay in lane. But the signs say what you can do on I-5.... I guess I just got used to it. Its one of those common sense or ???? we could argue all day about this issue, just like on channel 17.... Anyway, DRIVE SAFE |
