If your gonna run on the interstate I'm pretty sure it's 80K just like for everyone
    else.

I'm not sure but you may be able to haul a lil more if your intrastate.

I'd check with your CMV at the DMV to make sure your in compliance with the bridge law and the gross. What are you going to do if you're over and they tell you to make it legal?

I drive hopper trailers, and pull powder. It is the same as any other CMV combo unless you have a special permit.. If your not driving on the interstate you can pull up to 84K. I know as I do this everyday.. I will however admit, to carrying 84k on the interstare, and carry a over weight permit..

All depends on how many axles you have and what your length is. Standard tandem and you will be 80,000. Add another axle to the trailer or the tractor and you can be heavier.

I pull a tri axle belt bottom with a liftable pusher on the tractor and my legal weight is 96,000 on North Dakota interstates. I can be up to 105,000 on state roads.

Another thing you have to watch is axle weights . If you run close to legal limits you will have to put at least 2,000 -2,500 less in the front hopper than in the rear hopper .
