    Below is a DOT example from their website. I also added my words to hopefully make someone understand it incase they can't understand the DOT regs. When I discuss it I try to include the 11/14 hour rule in the same instead of discussing the 11 & then the 14 hour. I don't know it helps some drivers doing it that way.

    I will post more with the 2 hour break first. I swear if you just print these and keep trying and keep reading the words you will understand split breaking and then you will say duh this is the easiest thing in the world to do! I did that, so I know you all will l.o.l.

    My carrier uses computerized log auditing . Every driver I've talked to that split sleeper time was told they had a 14 hour violation . No punitive action was taken but we quit logging sleeper unless we do it to save hours on our 70 in 8 .
