If you attempt to mislead Law Enforcement, or LIE to them you can be cited/arrested/charged for "Obstruction" if you piss them off.

An obstruction charge is a misdomenor criminal offense. It has nothing to do w/ you'r driving record. Follow the others advice and get a lawyer. Don't sweat it.

don't admit to the log falsification. Just stick to the story that your boss thinks you leave saturday but you don't leave untill sunday. Nobody is in the shop weekends to see when you leave.
If you admit to the falsification they likely won't drop it.

falsifying a log for no reason is just stupid. Plus by showing less days on the road you are lowing the amount of perdiem you can deduct on your taxs idiot


(lol, I can call him idiot and it's not even an insult)
