IF you were going to drop the dime on someone as far as HOS violations how would you do it?

Would you go to upper managment first, or would you go to the FMCSA first?

It is unclear what upper managment would do at this point. If they are notified first then that would prevent heavy fines as well as a possible negative safety rating for the company.

If FMCSA is notified first, this brings the likelyhood of swift and decisive action as well as a good posibility of the perpetrators being terminated which is one of my goals. i will explain why i want this as the story unfolds.........

My gut feeling is that upper managment would prefer if they were notified first and thus they could avoid having FMCSA notified at all.

You should mind your own business. I've read every post you've written on these forums.

Insults and name calling removed by moderator.

OK, thank you for your opinions.

However, this IS very much my business.

I have read your other posts too.... How does someone else's HOS violations affect you? Let them bear the consequences if they get caught. Depending on what kind of company (big one or little guy) if the guy gets caught the company is going to disassociate themselves from the drivers logs.

I would say keep your nose out of someone else's business. If I caught wind you were pulling this type of #### with me I would not have a job and you would not have any facial structure.

Are you the same guy that was on here a couple months ago complaining about getting a ticket for going well over 100mph in Atlanta.... because of the "train of trucks"?

Same thing. Extremely vague story with no elaborations.

    Not really.

Worry about your own truck, logs, freight, & business. How he runs or doesn't run is not your business unless you visually witnessing him smoking crack or drinking alcohol while driving a CMV.

And if you go running to your boss crying like a baby who just lost their rattle & threatening calls to the FMCSA... The boss may see you as a disgruntle employee & you just may very find yourself jobless.

Do yourself a favor & forget about it. In this economic time it isn't a wise decision to put yourself on the unemployment line voluntarily.

Well, lets call this thread done.

While I tend to agree and think this guy should probably mind his own business, name calling and insults are not necessary.

You guy's can do better than this!
