Looking for some advice on leaving a company. I am not at that point yet, but i want to have all my ducks in a row when i do. I have heard you need to get a copy of your dac if you can. also to send a registered letter letting them know of your intentions. also bring back your truck clean, and have someone sign off on the condition. Or the company will make up stuff and stick you with the bill.
Looking for a good game plan to have in place. Looking for some suggestions to help protect myself.
Thanks for all the info. possible.

I've left 2 companies...gave both a full 4 weeks notice and a clean truck.
Now I'm back with one of those companies and don't plan on leaving again.
To answer your question...it depends on the company, their attitude, your attitude, your work performance, how well they like you, etc., etc....
You may not need to do anything except give a notice and a clean truck...or you may need all of the things you've read about.
Which company is it?Baack Thanks this. -
Depends on the company. Alot of them will tell you to clean out your truck as soon as you give your 2 weeks notice. Make sure you have a job before you quit. Good ones are few and far between.
