Is there anyone else who finds this truly ridiculous? I am sick to my stomach with all the rules and regulations this industry never fails to implement, ESPECIALLY Ontario!

So we get 3 years and then no more using a CB microphone. That's part of trucking, everyone has a CB, and you use a microphone, not a fricken button on your shirt.

This honestly makes us truckers look like a bunch of spineless jellyfish. In no other industry could you decide to take away a common tool for no reason and then get no fight back from the workers of that industry.

All you hear on the radio anymore is fellow drivers going at it back and forth like a bunch of 5 year old kids on the playground. Truckers are there own worst enemy some days, and I have to ask, will truckers ever grow up and stand together?

Nope. Wont happen. Theres not enough truckers in trucks anymore to do anything.

Like TripleSix stated, "we're our own enemy". Im heading up to Oneonta NY yesterday for a load propane, theres a guy on the CB telling a few drivers to meet him at the rest area so he can "kick thier ####". Comon allready, when will this crap end. Oh, I just figured out when it will end, when that new law comes into effect.

Apparently, you have not read the article.

It is only for Ontario Province, In Canada.

I still find its funny that its ok for me to type in an address on my gps while driving but its a $500 fine to hold a phone against my ear.

wait, its only a matter of time before it takes place in the states here, with the way things are going, we wont have a radio, cb, cell, tv, gps, no dash screens, passangers, pets, ipods and so on... just wait...
