You are correct, all amendments have no effect until they are ratified. That was the case with the "Bill of Rights" also, all 10 amendments had to be ratified before they had any effect.

The commerce clause has been perverted by the Supreme Court IMHO, but that is their constitutional right.

 

hmm, from my experience the good guys could care less about eLogs. They like them, because it's puts them in a more defensable position.

 

Its just a stinkin' automated log book.

IMO, the folks who raise the most heck about elogs are the folks who most likely do the most pencil-whippin' to make things "come out right" in the paper logs.

 

I just heard a conversation that went something like:
Driver: How can I speed, my truck is governed at 65
Safety: Your truck wasn't going to fast, your pencil was
Driver: Well how do I fix that?
Safety: Slow your pencil down.

 

Against my better judgement I'm going to agree with you.

 

It's called short term memory lost. But I do think E LOGS has been around way before President Obama took office. So don't blame him!!!
