So it looks like I may be moving to Nashville, rather than Houston as I previously thought. Waiting for final word from a prospective employer there (non-trucking related.)
I'll be looking to buy a home within commuting distance (1 hr/50 miles) of downtown Nashville, but even though the job is not trucking-related, I do own a truck and I want to park it at home.
Can any drivers from the Nashville area offer me some advice on what communities are ok with truck parking on private property? If any of the towns have local ordinances prohibiting this, I'd like to know so that I can avoid those towns.
Thanks!

Franklin, TN has a bunch of horse farms I service and I always see rigs parked in the driveways.

Alot of residential areas have a no truck law in force i'd just call your town hall and ask them and even though you might be able to some of your neighbours may beg to differ and complain like i had happen to me

Don't be like an ex-neighbor I had a couple years ago. He came and went at wee hour's of the morning typically, which was okay. Except it was a dummy with straight pipes who was just so proud to announce his coming and going's with the jake. Idiot's like this are the poster child for everybody that thinks trucker's are stupid. How in god's green earth can anybody be so ignorant? Rant over...good luck finding a spot to park.
