See that's what I was wondering because their logs had no line for this. I know what you mean about no BOL numbers lol. I just pick whatever number seems best to use lol. Usually the places that have a straight up BOL# on their bills are better to deal with then those that don't IMO.
If there's no designated area on the company logs for this addition, can you just write BOL# xxxxx xxxx anywhere in the remarks or does it have to be a technical way to write it? Syntax/semantics I mean lol.

Fact all of the violations listed in CSA2010 are already on the books and if LEO decided to write a ticket thry could have if they desired.
Fact DataQ will see a significant increase in challenges as carriers carefully review their roadisde inspections in expectation of CSA2010 taking affect.
Fact carriers will ramp up their training programs to ensure drivers are aware of the HOS and record keeping requirements to avoid negative roadside inspections.
There are three things that are inevitable in life; death, taxes and change.

Obviously, you cant do a #### thing to change the reality of this new system anymore than I can. It's going to come and almost 200,000 drivers will be out of their jobs forever!!! But for you to be so staunch in your defense of this plan to terminate a driver's carreer seems rather cold-hearted to me! IT ALMOST SEEMS like law enforcement is enjoying the prospect of FIRING 200,000 DRIVERS, some of whom probably deserve it, but certainly not all of them do.
Once again, drivers we are being reminded, rather forcefully this time, exactly what our country thinks of us and how much we are worth and respected for the service we provide. We are being shown, again, that we are expendable and easily replaced, worth less than the equipment we operate, worthy of nothing other than fear and distrust, and at any time we can be tossed out like a sack of garbage! When are you (DOT) guys going to implement some rules on the people who service trucks? How about having to require that the mechanic being from a certified school? So you (DOT), ever look at how the shop works? Do you ever watch how repairs are done? In the northeast they had a rash of trucks with the brakes that failed, and all they can do is blame the driver, the shop is just as at fault as the driver. I would bet most company shops are not up to snuff, but we know you don't care about that part of it.

Waste Management pulled the same trick when I lived in Grand Rapids, MI eleven years ago. Roadkill, you're a resident of GR, right? How many choices for curbside trash pickup do you have now? Waste Management... or what... Waste Management? Not as many choices as there were in 1997, I know that.
WM decided they wanted to be the only game in town... so they helped Grand Rapids council members legislate the little guys out of business.
