low clearance info

    does anyone have a link or know where i can find info on low clearance for overpasses in texas and new mexico?

    Rand McNally won't list every single low-clearance, but it'll catch the major ones though you're on your own for secondary roads or many rural routes. That being said, I'd be rather less concerned about hitting a bridge in NM or TX than say, NY or PA.

    Do doubt! You could parachute into Chicago blindfolded, hit the ground rolling, simultaneously throw a quarter, and hit a low clearance bridge. That same quarter would ricochet off 6 others before it gets pocketed by a bum.

    To the OP. Try a google search for "low clearance - Texas - New Mexico" That worked for me a few weeks ago in Spokane, WA.
