I work for Central REf. Didn't go to their school though, but if you search in the forums there's a couple of threads where Central Drivers post.

As to leasing a truck, if you go with Central, don't. At least until you've driven for them a year. They lose something like 80% of their drivers within a year, and if you're leasing a truck, they WILL come after you if you walk away. So stick with them a year before you decide to tie yourself in for 4 more.

Where do you live? My wife and I worked for central for six years. We did not however go to their school. We really enjoyed working for central and made a lot of money. We drove company for a year and leased for five years. I know a lot has probably changed since we have worked there but overall I think they are a good company. I think one of the changes was that they went to paperless logs. Pay is probably average but you will be driving nice trucks and they will keep you busy if you know what you are doing. Their terminals are in Salt lake, ut, Fontana, ca, atlanta ga, denver co and not sure if the one in ft worth tx is still there. Check out the central thread on here. A lot of drivers are happy with central.

 

Yes we leased. We leased four trucks. Give yourself at least a year before doing a lease. There is a lot to learn. Make your mistakes on there time!
