A lot of those job posts are scams to get you to send your resume to gain your personal info. It has been happening a lot on Craigslist

this is true, so what i suggest is, respond to the ad, but say you cannot submit social security numbers because your pc was infected with a trojan, and you'd rather go to thier office in person.

be ambiguous of information you give, but be adamant about showing up in person, for a quick interview.

The company could be based in Jax but have terminals elsewhere and they are hiring drivers who live along 70 to be based out of another terminal. Maybe they worded it wrong or maybe.... it's a scam.

I have responded to lots of ads on craigslist. WShen you go on they tell you to be wary of scams. If they have an ad and request personal info I always reply and ask questions as to what company it is, where they are located etc... and that I'd like to come in in person to drop off a resume and fill out an application. If they are legitimate they will respond with all the information you requested. If it's a scam they won't. It's really easy enough for a 1st grader to figure out yet people probably fall for it daily. How stupid have [people really become? Wait on second thought don't answer that.

any post on craigslist THAT IS PUNCHED IN CAPS to get your attention puts up a flag with me. not to mention, no email, no phone, no web url.
and the ones that send you to some pop-up-jobs page where you give out all your personal data. dont do it

if replying to a craigs post tell them THEIR contact info gets YOUR contact info.
i gaurantee you will never hear anything back
