Cascade Tank was leasing vac trailers to their owner ops. They were only paying $80 or so if you didn't have your own trailer. I have no idea what the rate is now. Proabably lower. Rates are starting to be cut in ND. Cascade is based in Rifle, CO. I don't know of anyone else leasing trailers in ND. Possibly Wylie Bice???

    FYI:

Info I discovered while hauling water in ND is that:

Owner Operators do NOT pay overtime. I was @$24hr stright time. X70hrs a week give or take? Does 65k yr make the the below doable?

No Housing!...just 5th wheels. We were pissing in prestone antifreeze bottles and pooping in bags (i never did) because half of the RV spots out there do not have water.

Hauling water is very cut throat...example.. I've seen many kids no older than 21 wearing tennis shoes driving at the water wells...and folks texting and driving is the norm. Finally, the dispatcher at one of the largest trucking fleets in williston N.D. purposly called the trucker I worked for out for 6x12hr shifts consecutively!!!!

We're looking for the same thing, too. We were leasing through a company and using their trailers, but not anymore. Any information would be appreciated!

The company we were leased on with got several new trucks of their own, so they took back the trailers they had been letting us use and put them with their new trucks. (understandably) We have more trucks than trailers, so when they needed their trailers back, that left us without. That's why we would like to find a company that has trailers we can use until we can get more of our own.
