Truck Driver (CDL with Tanker Endorsement) - Athens, PA (OTS)-6295
Description
Oilfield Trucking Solutions, a Chesapeake Energy company, is seeking to fill the position of Truck Driver. The hourly employee will operate an assigned tanker truck in the Athens, PA area. The tanker will haul liquids such as water, brine, and various drilling fluids to and from drilling locations. Drilling locations are, at times, in remote locations and the driver should be comfortable driving in various environments a terrain.
The current schedule allows for the driver to be home almost every night. In addition, schedules are designed to give the employee every other weekend off when possible. Most drivers will average up to 70 hours per week. This is a full-time permanent position and offers a wide array of company benefits and incentives.
Responsibilities
Haul water, brine, and various drilling fluids to and from drilling locations
Able to operate tanker truck safely through various types of terrain
Function "on-call" in order to respond to emergency call-outs
Willingness to work days or nights as the work load dictates
Qualifications
Class A CDL Drivers License
Tanker endorsement indicated on license (N)
Valid DOT Medical Card
Willing to work up to 70 hours per week
Ability to function "on-call" for emergency situations
Live within 1 hour of the operation
Pass a drug test, background check, road test, driving record review, and physical assessment
Prefer experienced drivers but will consider all levels

Welp I see them quite often, they do the same thing I do. What kind of questions are you looking to have answered?
Hauling water is about one of the easiest jobs I've ever had. There's some days you get chained up and pulled up hills by a dozer but these big wells are nothing like the shallow wells and logging sites in PA, they're usually a good road and your usually taking your time and in no hurry to get the water moved.
Over all it's quite a GRAVY gig and the easiest job driving that I've ever had... -
