I plan on taking my CDL training sometime in the very near future. IM looking to find a company that allows pets, once I finish school.
I have a Whippet dog....she is a great dog, about 25 lbs.
What companies allow pets?
Do most companies allow o/o to have pets, but not their own company drivers?

Some do, most don't. However, it depends on the company. If so, usually you pay a pet deposit. But, it's probably best to ask first. Good luck.

CRST dose but I think your looking at about $200 or $250 deposit

Seems like Martin Transport does or use to, I haven't looked at that company for 3 years so their policy may have changed.

C.F.I. allows pets after a $300 deposit. -
Oh and with CFI its for life. Reguardless if you stay with them for the long haul or leave and go back. Its a 1 time deal and its non refundable.

I let drivers have pets. If the driver is not happy, he's not making money. If he's not making money i'm not. So if it takes letting him travel with a pet, so be it. And I dont see the need for a pet deposit. If the driver would let an animal make "dung" in the cab, I think I would notice that kind of person when hiring them. Now, there is an extent. I have heard of a driver/dog breeder that would haul multiple animals on trips. I would have to question that.

I wish Roehl would allow pets!
