Is it true that default (dead-beats) child support will get you in trouble in Canada? An attorney told my daughters father to never go to Canada, he'd get sent back, child support defaults are a felony up there. True? Just wondering, if it is, anyone want to help me "push" him across? lol

Iam wondering if you could persuade him across the border like for instance a mule will walk to a carrot dangling in front of him...not a bad idea...

Swift won't hire felons? That's funny. I went to train for them, was there for a week, and met no less than five guys with felonies. All passed the background check. The only people sent home were those with narcotics-related offenses.

If you are looking for a place that hires with felonies, try Carolina Cargo out of Rock Hill SC.

Well, Make sure you disclose it to companies.

As a recruiter myself, I ask "Do you have any Felonies/Misdemeanors or any criminal record EVER?"

Then the Jail/Probation time comes into play. I don't know if the felony that happened 30+ years ago is something that you got out of prison for yesterday...Things like that.

The restriction at JBHT is Felony AND reprocussions of said felony outside of the last 5 yrs. Violent and Drug felonies are Right Out.

Hello newbie here Brickman,,,,,,,, we went to go hunting in canada last year an one of the guys that went with us the last 3 years was turned down at the border because of a feloney 20+ years ago this was the first anything was ever said to him. he had to come home an the rest of us went on our hunt. They said he could pay $1000 for some kind of hearing but most likely would lose anyhow.
