Don't know why it never occurred to me before but there is a website called bismanonline.com that's kinda like a ND/SD/MT craigslist. There are several places advertising in there under employment and oilfield sections that are looking for drivers. Also place in there looking for other help too. Just figured I'm post that so if anyone wants they can get some numbers to call.

I am not an O/O but there are lots of them up here and lots of companies that will hire you and your truck. Most guys that come up here have competing offers the first day they look for a job. A lot of the O/O companies have vac trailers too and their drivers haul sand, freshwater, and production water and oil, so there is always work for them. You will have better luck in person then you will trying to get anything done over the phone though. Yes you can stay in your truck, lots of people do. When I said that I wouldn't work for a company that couldn't provide a decent place to stay I meant that more for us company drivers.

    Hey everyone,

Looking for more specific info on MBI, wages and just general
info should know, please just MBI drivers respond
Trying to decide as of now which oilfield services company
works best for me personally, narrowed to basically either MBI OR
    Power Fuels
LightsOutND has been good in Power Fuels side, but MBI has proved to
be a tough nut to crack so far in this dept
Standing offer from MBI, Power Fuels very likely also
Going to be based out of Minot, have apt leased for later
    this month
Understand Power Fuels has shuttle from Minot, does
MBI have similar arrangement of some kind?
Please,no conjecture here people, require some good present
day facts, and will be much appreciated!

I will take the opportunity to repeat what my co-worker told me the other day about MBI. She used to be a school teacher. She has worked at Power Fuels for 3 years now along with her husband. She is 58 and spends most of her time doing rigs.... someone that i sort of look up to, i think she is doing just great and talk about hauling in the cash being married to someone who works nights there. Her son works at MBI. She told me what he does but i can't remember the title exactly. Its something to do with handling hot oil and is very dangerous work. She said that since they got bought out the new management is treating him very badly. She told me that they also didn't give him the raise he was supposed to get and that she makes more than he does even tho his work is very dangerous. She said he is thinking about coming to Power Fuels.

PF isn't the be all end all tho either. I don't like the new management. They are forcing people to do swap outs and it eats up all your time. You end up with only about 8 hrs to eat and sleep, never mind doing anything. People are not showing up and rebelling.... apparently they think we are machines now.

Uh huh, that hot oil truck operation is all about being on
top of everything every second, basically forcing pressurized hot water down the casings to kind of clear out all the misc debris from drilling/fraccing

You wouldn't happen to know benefit costs for family from
Power Fuels? MBI covers cost, but still don't know what
    deductables would be
Anyone else out there work out of Minot?
    Commuting or shuttle?

    Thanks everyone
