Trying to find out about Oilfield trucking!

Yeah that's no bull. I've spent way more time doing serious off-roading in my Pete than I ever did in any of my Jeeps. Stuck way more too!

 

Getting stuck in the mud hauling 160 barrels is like pulling a boat anchor. I've pulled more people out of the mud in the last four days than in the last four months. Great way to make friends.

Back on-topic, do not take a job up here that pays by the load. You will be hurried by your employer and that is when $h!t happens. Working 12-14 hours per day, if you rush it, you are a gambler behind the wheel, and you do not belong in the North Dakota oil patch during Winter. If you choose to gamble up here, pray you do not get found out when I am around.

Spoke with a guy in williston needs a crude driver said pay was 25% ? Is that around
the going rate?No bennys

I know that, but the poster doesn't know the rate. 25% of nothing is still nothing.
