There are several companies that haul glass out of AFG in Church Hill. I live about 15 miles west but there are several that haul fright around there. Plus there is Eastman Chemical that several tanker companies haul from so i am sure you can locate something. I think Superior is one of the tanker companies.

Big G is in Shelbyville. They have a terminal up there? They wouldn't be bad.
Old Dominion is down I-81 in Greenville and Epes is in Morristown. Epes is a decent company.
Westside Transport has a small terminal in Kingsport. Stay far away from them.
That area is the heart of the mobile home manufacturing industry. A lot of trucking companies feed them. Bean Station, Rogersville, White Pine are a few nearby towns with plants.
There are so many companies that run I-81 your choices are almost endless.
Johnson City is some beautiful country. Cherokee Lake is a great lake if you like fishing.

They are based out of Shelbyville, but have had a terminal for some time just of I-81 between Johnson City and Bristol. I don't recall the exit number. They also have a terminal off I-840 near Murfreesboro.
At one time Raven had a terminal in Johnson City across from the Freightliner dealer.

Im going with Big G Express, I live in Johnson City, They are at exit 15 on 81, Heartland is at Ex 57 along with yellow freight up at ex 63 you have Southeast and conway and Harris, Kingsport is full of Tanker companies, STS and Werner is at ex 42 on 81, It would depend on your driving record and csa and road time as to what you can do.... Good luck and welcome to Tennessee

I didn't like averitt, But that would be at the same ex as Heartland which is off I 26 Eastern Star Rd to the industrial park, Averitt would have company cops, that would wake you on the yard for a inspection, and to see if you had a uniform, ?? Then would give you loads you cant make with what hours you have left and if you dont make it you get a service failure ?? Then the other end of that stick is saftey on your ### for logs ???
