If you happen to have a bunk heater, you winter idle goals are lower than the rest....not really a problem wither, until you have to idle the truck anyway because of the really low temps. The idle goals aren't hard to stay under, it just takes a bit time until you see what works for you. As far as summer goes, you can buy a fan, park facing away from the sun, ect. If you find your goal is a bit high for the month, ask to be routed to an area that is cooler (or warmer depending on the time of year) to get it back down.
According to my DSR, they are the same for the whole fleet. I have THREE fans in my truck, but when it is 82 degrees and 94% humidity outside, all that does is push hot air around. The other night I woke up with me and my bedding soaking wet from sweat. Fans don't cut it.

Thanks for your input and encouragement!

Maybe they've changed the idle standards as far as the ICON trucks go, but the goals with the trucks with heaters are different, mainly for the winter months. Check in your driver's manual, it's in there. Another point to add what I posted before...How many miles you run affect your idle time, so now that you are running more miles, you should see it drop off a bit.

There is a difference for those with heaters as opposed to those without. The cold doesn't bother me; I can tolerate that more than I can sleeping on soaking wet bedding from sweating!

Also, their idle standard for June is 30%, which I will not get to. Especially seeing as how it was 88 degrees in northern Ohio the other day when I was there!
