Hey to all the drivers out there.I'll tell you all a little about myself I've got 4mos. O.T.R. experience ,I started with C.F.I. in Febuary ran with them until April when a local company (owner-operator) had a job running automotive freight in a 5 state midwest regional. This job I was only running 5 days a week, 3,000 miles @.30c.p.m. Sounds to good to be true...... It was I only got 2800 miles @ the most and that was my first two weeks. My paychecks were never consistent.I stayed with them until June when I got a check for $315.00 for a weeks pay.Now I tying to find a job where I can get good miles, decent hometime(I'm recently married with two kids),I know in this business you can't have both with the amount of experience I have but any suggestions I would more than honor.C.F.I butchered my D.A.C.,I applied with Knight and they informed me that C.F.I. put on my report: I was a no show TWICE!, I also had 2 none reported accidents. All of which is false.I returned my truck to the Taylor terminal,Luke a dispatcher said he was required to check it over,he did just that said everything was o.k. gave written confirmation that was the case, and said he would notify my F.M. that I quit.I just need a job!

well dude it will be a little hard for you to get a job anywere now due to your dac and due to you looking like a job hopper.

as for the two non reported accidents some companies have stupid policy's that can mess you up quick.

I read about on guy got nailed because he use to do u-turns and had got stuck on someones property and they called it a preventable because he had to use a wrecker to get out.

Another scratched his trailer and that was listed as preventable accident.

    Stupid rules with some companies.

As for not showing up two times were you ever late for a pick up or delivery, were you assigned a load that you refused?

Some companies will use that against you as a no show.

It sucks but hopefully you may be able to get another job try a small o/o company.

As for me saying you look like a job hopper that is based on your own words CFI from Feb - Apirl then a small o/p you did not say when you started but you quit that one in June thus making you look like a job hopper.

could be a stupid company policy were he may have done a u-turn and messed up someones grass or some other thing that they can make up as an accident.

When I quit C.F.I. I returned my truck to the Taylor Mi. terminal where it was checked in by the night dispatch no problems. Now that truck had to be driven from Taylor Mi. to Joplin Mo.,I don't know what happened between Taylor and Joplin but it wasn't my fault. I drove that truck to Montreal Quebec Canada, Laredo, Tx,Kouts In.,all thru NY(GOD HELP YOU ALL THAT DRIVE THRU NEW YORK AND THE BOROUGHS)I have NEVER!!!! hit a #### thing grabbin' gears or makin' turns or shreddin' somones lawn (T.M.C.) or taking down a lightpole or anything else you other drivers might think of. I left C.F.I. and my D.A.C got butchered not from my driving, but by pissing people off.I don't need a lesson in job etiquette I just want know where I can pick up the pieces. I AM NOT A JOB HOPPER! I'm quite sure there other drivers in worse shape than myself.

don't blow a gasket I was just saying that to companies you may look like a job hopper.

Not being at a company for any long time makes you look bad to potential employers.

As for the accidents I was just using that as examples of what they could use to black ball you.

I did not say that you did anything wrong except not staying at a company for verry long.

I have also heard that if someone calls the 800 # on your trailer and report you they may called that as accidents even though you did nothing wrong except for having a goverend truck that is slower than people want to go in 4 wheelers.

you did not answer the other question

As for not showing up two times were you ever late for a pick up or delivery, were you assigned a load that you refused?

Thats the whole point.I know as a driver there are things you just don't do.I never refused any loads coming my way gotta keep the wheels turnin' right? I never had any service failures for being late. The no show was my my truck being parked at the terminal without me being in the seat.I didn't and would never quit under any load.I returned my truck to the terminal and was labeled a "no show".The dispatcher knew before I turned my truck in what my intentions were, granted I didn't give proper notice which I regret. I made 1 critcal mistake I admit it and won't deny it.I just want to clean up my act, the grass is never greener on the other side and I finally understand that about this business.Don't judge me by my actions.I thought when I left C.F.I. I was making a good decision.Went for the so called "better" opportunity.Blew up in my face back @ square one.

    Well good luck.

If the issues of your Dac comes up at the application process just explain to them what happened and you may be given a chance by some companies if you are truly honest with them.

I heard honesty is allways the best policy.

Have you tried May Trucking you can Call them ask for Leona W and tell her that Mike G told you to call her.

I am starting with them Monday I have heard good and bad but I will try them out hopefully they will treat me good and with the respect that I deserve.
