Constructive Criticism. You may have a tough time selling guys on telling them how many home days they get. One of the reasons i bought a truck was to set my own schedule, go home when i want and go back out when I want.

    BigBluePeter Thanks this.

So noted, thank you for the constructive criticism. Our point is our team is not forced out on the road for weeks upon weeks! Again, thank you.

The problem with this, and almost every other ad is nobody mentions expected pay. You state "aggressive percentage".
If you want to get more people to bite, you are gonna have to post more detail. And use to the truck numbers, not gross before you take your cut. You should have all this info readily available at your finger tips, not putting it right out there in your advertisement just makes you look like you got a bunch of cheap freight. Cause after all, an aggressive percentage of buck fifty a mile freight is nothing but a sure way to have a worn out truck with no funds to replace or repair it.
Which gets more phone calls? "An aggressive percentage of linehaul" or "last year our average owner operator made 180k dollars on 90k miles." If i was looking for a change, I know which one I'd be calling.

I hope you accept this as the constructive input it was intended to be.

I don't mind the constructive criticism at all Spyder. Our current Owner-Operators are averaging $2.06 per mile to the truck with an average of 3,000 miles per week.

I will say this, as a company we will not under any circumstance haul any cheap freight. We have a set per mile price and we won't touch it unless its a bare minimum of that. We turn down plenty of freight every single week because it doesn't help anyone, not the company, our drivers, the truck, or our fellow business owners and counterparts.

We are also now searching for an additional company driver for whom we will pay $0.37 per mile with a full benefits package (health, dental, vision, life, vacation) after one year of service.

Spyder, having been involved in this industry for a few years now I will say this. I could put together a compensation for an O/O or a Company Driver that would rival me handing them Sweet Baby Jesus. But the fact of the matter is you'll find some people that will find a way to criticize or complain about just anything. Not saying that's you at all, this is not about your statement at all. The point is I could pay someone more than I pay myself and they still wouldn't be happy. The key to the game is finding the happy medium my friend.

Hope this answers your question. Thanks again for the constructive and Drive Safe out there.
