Working in Canada

You can not work in Canada -any more than a Frenchman can work in America.. You maybe able to work illegally like the Mexicans do in the USA, but not for any normal trucking firms who require Social Security cards, birth certificates or Permanent Resident Card. There are companies advertising for European drivers who they will sponsor for immigration to Canada, perhaps they would sponsor you from the USA. Try searching Winnipeg trucking companies .. such as overtheroad.ca or thedieselgypsy.com/canada

Good luck and hopefully welcome to Canada -one of the best countries in the world.

Canada hard core about aliens

Yes, it's not like the states, where we have taking immigration to the extreme. They don't feel obligated to give you anything, and rightly so. I only wish we were more like Canada on this one issue. Maybe that's why Canada has only 33,390,141 people. Kinda makes it nice without people jammin' the place up. I would advise you not to move for a woman, though. That leads to a family, and how you gonna be on the road guilt free with that?
