reefer driving jobs and WSE?

I am interested in WSE but I think it refrigerated driving. What are the ins and outs of this type of work? I would imagine it would be loud for sleeping. Thanks...

It's loud for sleeping but so is an Air conditioner. I like it - it's white noise so you don't hear anything else. Some hate it and refuse to run reefers. It's a personal choice. If you do a quick search on this forum, there's lots of info on reefers...

Refrig

Refers take some getting use to----took me about 2 days
The newer the the unit, the quieter they run......
Also require more attention than dry box---i.e. FUEL,-oil leaks, door seals,
int & ent damage to skin,etc...
Some companys also pay more for refers.

I started with garbage wagons back in .....oh..... 1990.
Wasn't too bad. After 3 years of Hunts Point(Which I like), and dealing with the pack houses out in Cali. I had enough.

Last year, a now Ex friend, asked me to drag his around for a few days.
I was NEVER SO GLAD to get away from a trlr in my life. Loud, smelly, and of course dealing with food docks suck!
I'll stick to a stepdeck, RGN, or flat any day. I'd rather pull a dry van.
