Accident-Terminated

I am a driver with 1 year experience from Pa. I swerved to avoid a herd of deer and something flew off my shelf striking me in the head almost knocking me out. I ended up laying the rig on the side. Got terminated. I know I should of plowed them.

Any suggestions on companies that may hire or any suggestions at all ?

I would just put lots of applications in..

to different companies. you never know. next time just aim straight ahead , hold the wheel with a death grip, and hang on. at least you won't be held accountable for mass murder of a bunch of stupid animals. good luck and keep trying. try the big training companies. they might be a little more lenient in the hiring requirements.

And try to secure your items a little better. It is easy just to toss them anywhere when you are rolling down the road, but quickly they can turn deadly when they are thrown around with force.

Ground venison and deer-hide carpets are much cheaper than $130k worth of equipment (freight not included)

"Knock on wood" I have yet to hit a deer or encounter a herd in the road and I have been lucky thus far, but if I do come upon deers in the road.....I am going to plow their field...It is better to hit them than to suffer from the circumstances afterwards..I was taught in school to hold fast to the wheel and hope for the best....I hope that I never have that decision to make...bless you all and stay safe......
