Would it be possible for me to get a job?
I just turned 20 and ive always wanted to be a truck driver but would I be able to get some kind of truck driving job at the age of 20? I live in fayetteville, nc if that helps but I want to get the job now so that I will have a little experience after I turn 21 and try long haul.

You might be able to drive intrastate ( within your home state)
only until you turn 21. I think you have to be 21 to get your CDL. Go to your MVD office and they should have info and manuals. You might be able to get in with a farm operation or cattle or something along those lines where you're not traveling busy roads all the time. But I'm not 100% sure on all this so it's just a maybe . Check into it more. You can probably contact a trucking school and just ask them . They should know.

At 18 you can get a CDL. However, you must be 21 in order to drive across state lines. In other words, you can drive a big truck only in the state of NC.
