reply I agree with danc694u, and would add that simply talking to neighbors or past aquaintances would help. Be honest and say that you are applying to drive after going to tractor trailer school. And incase someone called them would they say they know you. Ask for a referal from the school. Maybe they can suggest a company. And how was the school paid? If it was after you received a loan then how did you qualify for the loan? there might be a reference. try to find companies that train new grads. You might have a better chance being a new grad with no work history than you might think. If they are still uncompramiseing and demand recent work history then find out how much of a work history you will need to establish and work on that until you can reapply again. good luck. If you get in without haveing to work another job first for a few months tell me what company too, maybe I'd apply also.

I had this same issue..no work history, for the past 4 years while I was a SAHM. Got turned down by a dozen or so companies until I found out that's all it was. Most companies will accept letters from a professional; your minister, teacher, doctor, etc. I was able to find a company that would accept letters from non-professionals, but they were required to be non-family members. Keep trying they are out there! Good luck!

Find a local driving job and work that for a little. Schoolbus, dumptruck, cab driver, anything that will make it easier.
