USA Averitt

OK...Since no one answered me about PAM Transport, I assume they are an OK company. How about Averitt?

USA Re: Averitt

I originally filled out my online app to drive with PAM, but after my agent my app was approved, he suggested Averitt. More hometime, he said. Suggestions?

I saw that last week on their web site. It said "not hiring student drivers". I was a little curious in them but did not research them do to them not hiring students. How are they as a company, pay, and equipment?

I know a couple of people that work for them in the Norcross terminal and they like it. Don't remember what the recuiter said about pay when he came to school. Don't guess it matters since they aren't hiring.

If you like wearing a uniform, and only being able to sport an 80's style moustache and get about 1800 miles/week under HHG mileage pay, you'll love it...they had good insurance and nice equipment, but i didn't get jack for miles.

They drive slow in the middle lane? I ran over a bunch of parts falling off one of their trailors the other day on I-30? I dunno what you want to hear but I can't think of much good right now.
