The only way you could find that out is to call their HR dep't and ask if they subscribe to USIS Services. Chances are they may not be too inclined to tell you.

You will have better luck in this area with really small companies that may run less then 50 trucks...

I was told that DAC services are by subscription, meaning the fee is flat to belong to it, and the company that uses it is likely to be large. Most small trucking companies hire based on whether or not a driver is insurable, many of the large companies are partially self insured, meaning that they take a hit on any damage that occurs. I really don't see a reason for DAC, it's a service that has no real advantage in this day of the Blackberry and other information on demand services. I always ask who the insurance company is if I get to the point where I'm looking to get hired, I have my own black list, and my own reasons for having the black list.
My company doesn't use DAC, and I have avoided any company that does.

non-dac companys
Thks for the info folks!!! looking to change jobs, think I may have a "hit". small five truck outfit for of them a new western stars, the one I will be getting is a classic freightshaker that looks like a real nice truck. Took the drug test today and go down to meet the boss tomorrow when he gets in with the truck( Yup the boss trucks too!!) Get to see more of the U.S. than usual but will be good for a change. Looks like it might turn out to be a good run.
