I have friends that owner op for them and like it alot. I do not know any company drivers tho. From what I have heard they seem to be a decent company to work for.

Heya, guys i work for GTI and have been for about 7 months now ( team driver with my wife )

GTI has been great to us, good miles and never a minute late on that paycheck every Thursday!!

i cant speak for solo though since i have always been a team with my wife.

only downsides we dont like atm are not much stuff to do etc at there terminals, most dont have anything at all really, although there building a new one in Rancho Cucamunga CA atm...

upsides, nice equipment all the trucks past 3000+ have APU's and 1800 watt inverters etc.

anyway need info just let me know, i should be able to answer what ya need..

till then have fun goodluck GTI imo is a good choice

Yes 5 year company driver. Not to many problems, The trucks are adequate and the APU's are nice, but get used to being governed at 62/63. Clackamas has the only driver room worth mentioning, and yes the new Rancho yard in SoCAL is finally about 5% completed.

Depends pretty much where you live. Looks like your from Eugene, they'll probably make you park at either the Clack yard, Halsey yard (x216) or maybe if you can swing it with dispatch, i think we sometimes park trailers at the the Cascade Express yard and maybe trucks too which if my memorys working (i wonder sometimes) is in Jefferson / Albany area. If you live close to I-5 and you pass by your house under a load "you didnt hear this from me" but if you got room and its secure i would stop by the house. But policy usually is at a yard, drop lot or customer location sometimes.:yes2557:

My Swift mentor (and his wife) used to work for GTI out of Sumner WA. He didn't seem to have too many complaints as he was with them for 10 years. He came to Swift as there was more freight (per him). He has been with Swift for 2 + years now and just went o/o with a lease with Swift. I'm typing this message on the steering wheel of his 2009 Freightliner Columbia.
