I was with Gordon for a while and they weren't that bad. I talked to them last year and they seem to have a bit of a swollen ego now. They were hiring out of the Mid West but I'm not sure about Detroit. Here's their website: They do have real good equipment (or they did in 2003) and they pay practical miles. If they would hire you I would suggest going with them. I would also suggest getting a Passport if you can. This would be an added incentive for a company that does Canada to hire you since the laws governing re entry to the U.S. will be changing eventually. Just be careful if you travel Ontario. They're dicks. Good luck. Last edited by Cybergal; 04.02.2008 at 02.00 PM. |

| Pretty sure I saw a thread in the news sub-forum that they extended the passport requirement to June 2009 for land travel... |

| They have, but it doesn't hurt to have one if you're traveling there. The company I'm with now won't hire anyone without one. |
