His 1st mistake was even going back to crst after what they did to him... put him thru their training and then dumped him over 43miles. Geeze, no wonder the trucking industry has a ton of help wanted ads scattered all over the place. Treating people that want to work for them like this. it's disgusting!

Tell your friend to get on the phone and actually speak to a recruiter and explain his entire situation, and be honest. Go right to the source, and bypass all the hundreds of so called "recruiters that work with several-many companies, all for free", as they blow even more smoke than the trucking companies themselves do.

Truckersreport dot com(the very front of the site that hosts this board) recomends the following as "Good Companies":

he had no other choice but to go back to crst cause no other company would take him with only 2 weeks of company training he was driving for a logging company before going back but that wasnt paying the bills from what he told me his situation was so messed up it made his recruiter quit

One ten year old drug charge shouldn't keep him away from a good job. What were the circumstances of him leaving CRST the second time, did they mess up his DAC? My boyfriend had multiple drug charges and a DUI, all well over 10 years old, and he had no problems getting multiple job offers.
