Looking for a new Flatbed Carrier

I have been with TMC now for a little less then a year. For a company there size they have alot of good things going for them and they a a great training company however it is not the right company for me. I love pulling a skateboard and was wanting some imput on companys to look at. Thanks for the help. I would prefer a smaller company.

lease purchase or strait o/o?

this outfit im at has one....$400/wk tractor payment...buy yer own bang board, chains, straps and tarps (or thru them)
not sure what the payments are for the trailers

its not a bad outfit, poeple are all nice and know ya by name (for better or worse...lol)....rates kinda suck but are about the norm right now

if yer interested...the first 100 of my thread in the o/o section...or just pm me for the name of the name of this outfit

and no im not a requirter!!!!

shesh i have more self respect than that

Well we're w/Mercer and its working great. But you know there you have to be an O/O. I think they do have a LP with the trailers tho not sure. Bronc is right about the freight west. If ya want to make the bucks run East and where the other guys don't want to go...ie.... north in the winter and south in the summer. We had ben w/smaller co but they have all but folded with the high fuels cost and the lack of the ability to get higher paying freight. They had a couple of gravey runs but nothing in between....the trucks run themselves to death......they did not have the muscel to get the higher freight either. good luck
