| hello singh, job market is tough out there even with a CDL especially just starting out. good thing is you paid for your training and therefore if and when you hire on with a training company(swift, cr england, werner....) at least you wont have any contract binding you to drive for them. i would suggest that if you do not have any luck getting a local driving job, then you should try to hire on with werner, they are not the greatest with pay but i can say from personal experience that i did learn a great deal of experience from them and i still use that experience driving out here today even though it is no longer with werner. like many of us before you, we all had to start somewhere and we started with these training companies and then moved on better paying companies with better benefits. just wanted to give you some encouragement. read the forums here as there is a vast source of good advice and experience within. good luck and don't let some of the negative remarks get you down. |

| I'm going to split a hair here - just because I'm a pedant. "Recent graduate of a CDL school" is NOT the same thing as "I currently possess a Class A license". It's fully possible to graduate from a school and not get the license. That being said.. yeah, it's not likely.
