Could have been asked before But I'M new here

I have a couple of questions... I live in VA...Hence VA_taz... I am in school at this time to try to get my CDL...I am also a convicted felon... it's been 6.3 years... I have put out about 35 applications in the last week and a half and have received NO response from any of them. AM I WASTING MY TIME or should I continue to trust god and keep plugging away.. I am doing good in school and I just hope that someone will give me a chance to explain why I have a conviction and give me a chance also to prove that I can be a very valuable employee for them. ANY thoughts???

Its probably going to be up to the companies for the most part, but then sometimes its also up to the insurance companies who might see you as a liability, the best i could say to you is to talk to the recruiters, and also maybe the the manager of the companies and see what you can acomplish, i do know a owner op in idaho who hired a driver in your shoes, that had been a great driver as far as his boss had said, even tho the company he is leased to wasnt happy about it.. But keep plugging away and see if you can make your dream a reality, best of luck to you.

You never know what God can do, But a friend of mine just got a local job driving a crane truck, and he spent most of life in prison.
