another noobie

hey fellas,my name is jason,i live in west tenn,just got my cdl in el paso tx,was wondering if any of you guys knew of a company close to here or at least runs around here,by the way most of you truckers that run through el paso probably know my father,he goes by the handle,'PAPA SMURF',we tried to find something that ran up here outta el paso with no luck,most of the companies want school grads,im no stranger to the truck industry,my bro drives a stinger truck,,dad done it for years,been in and out of em for most of my life,just had no interest in driving for a living,until my job went to china,pretty much all i had left,so i went to texas to aquire me a license,the laws in tenn were too stiff for me,carry a learners permit and all that, just wasnt for me,wasnt interested in school either,,seen a few of my friends get screwed with thier new jobs,i am 35 yrs old with a clean driving record,any ideas or offers would be greatly appreciated,,thanks

 

by the way,,,have felony record,,was released from it in 2000

going to joplin sunday to orientation for sitton,,lied about experience,,really had no choice,wonder if they will notice the date on the license,,lol,,prolly,pop said they dont care but hes old school,,today is all about background,but have nothing to lose really so the hell with it ,,im going
