Music anybody know of any stage&lighting companies that are hiring drivers

I am a driver with 22 yrs.exp. in a straight truck I got my class a little over 3 years ago I have been driving for a temp. agency but want to get back into the entertainment transport side alot of the companies I drove for hire out their loads to companies with owner operators when the load out grows a 26' bobtail any leads will be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!

Try Upstaging INC. I think they require 2 yrs though not positive. Have a friend is a guitar tech for some bands he's gonna get me some more names, when I find out I'll post 'em...google these guys their site comes up, it's 3 yrs they require and some other stuff too....

Check Roadshows also. Backing a 53' and sleeping durring the day are some of there requirments.

Grab a copy of Challenge magazine at Pilot. This month they have an article on this and list a few phone numbers as well. It's a good read for someone thinking about this kind of work. I don't blame you if you don't want to go into a Pilot though, you should be able to grab a copy from someone by asking around.
