There are lots of local jobs here in town, you just have to do lots of pavement pounding. If you are a student it might be harder finding that "perfect" job because of lack of experience, but if you present yourself well you never know what might work out. I found my job in the paper, but when I got laid off I looked for quite a long time before I took this one. I used the papers, craigslist, and alot of job search places. As of today Oak Harbor is still on strike and I dont know if there is an end in sight or not, so anyone that gets hired there as a replacement might not have a job when this ends.
