NOTHING is "off the record" at a scale house. taking a vehicle on the road that you KNOW is unsafe and intentionally trying to get YOURSELF in trouble with the authorities is one of the stupidest things I've ever heard!

if you get behind the wheel, it's YOUR truck. YOU'RE responsible for it. NOT your dispatcher, terminal manager, mechanic, president of the company. YOU, the driver are responsible for it. this is the purpose of a pretrip inspection. when the truck breaks down and you have a wreck, and the investigation shows that something broke that should've been detected during a pretrip, good luck with your argument "well, the company MADE me drive it!"

try calark there good to work for i had like a like an abondonment on my record i left national carriers's trk at a trk stop after them screwing me for 6 months runnin my butt off with no money and they hired me and 3yrs later i paid my trk off with them!
